Goodbye 2016: What to Make of 2016

The Cubs Win the World Series!!!!!!!! Donald Trump Wins the Presidency!!!!!!! The Triumph of the Deplorables The Less Publicized Losses 0f 2016 The end of the year brings us reminders of the famous and great that have left us during the past year. Most would be heroes, politicians or celebrities. Let us also remember the unsung who added much to our lives. Michael “Jim” Delligatti died at 98 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. His claim to fame enriched generations of children. He was the MacDonald’s franchisee who created the Big Mac. Joe Sutter. Many of us take jet travel for granted. Joe Sutter was the chief designer of one of the greatest passenger planes of all time, the iconic Boeing B-747. Robert Hulseman, inventor of the Red Solo cup Leon Russell, the musician’s musician John Schnabel, 96 year old patriarch of a gold mining family, including grandson Parker Schnabel Joe Santos, Lt. Becker King Bhumibol Adulyadej, monarch of Thailand for 70 years Jon “Jock” Moffat, he fired the torpedo that crippled the Bismarck Let us not forget Youree Dell Harris, better known as Miss Cleo, the fake Jamaican psychic from Los Angeles, who was unable to predict her own bust. Blue Lives matter - The 65 police officers gunned to death so far this year, 21 of whom were assassinated in ambushes. 136 officers in total lost their lives in the line of duty this year. The over 750 homicide victims, including innocent children, in Chicago For those of us glued to the Discovery, Nature and National Geographic channels, we lost the Queen of Ranthambore, Machli, the acclaimed Bengal tigress who successfully raised 5 litters, died at 20, far outliving the normal life span of tigers in the wild. Bretagne, The last rescue dog at 9/11 Ground Zero Harambe, the gorilla Carnegie Deli The Atlantic City Taj Mahal Still Alive The Trump Derangement Syndrome The New York Times, MSNBC, and much of the media will spend the next 4 years demonizing and delegitimizing Donald Trump while viewership and readership declines

President Obama's Anti-Semiticsm in Now in Plain View for he World to See

The Obama Administration passively sat on its hands and mikes last Friday as the United Nations formally branded Israel a Rouge Nation. or The Obama Administration orchestrated the vote behind the scenes. The Obama Administration on its way out of office let pass a resolution labeling the Israeli settlements “a violation of international law.” The proclamation held that Israeli settlements on lands occupied since 1967 have no legal validity. We have known for 8 years that President Obama reviled Israel, but carefully masked it as personal animus towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We have known for 8 years that the Obama foreign policy has several planks based on complete naiveté: 1 The United States military enforces a foreign policy of global oppression; 2 Israel is the root source of chaos in the Mideast 3 Israel is an oppressor nation, especially to the Palestinian people 4 The source of stability in the Mideast is to be Iran 5 His national security advisors consist of political operatives like Tom Donilon and Ben Rhodes or clueless advisors like Susan Rice. We have recognized for 8 years that President Obama might well pull the plug on supporting Israel, but hoped he wouldn’t. His foreign policy was obvious early. First, he insulted our true ally, England, by shipping the Churchill Bust. Then he sat by as the Mullahs ruthlessly suppressed Iranian student demonstrations against a stolen election. Not a peep of solidarity or even outrage. The Mullahs cemented power and resolve. They knew what they needed to know about the new American President. They had his number. The third early step was to summarily abandon the anti-ballistic missile defenses in Czechoslovakia and Poland, President Obama was peeved in 2011 that the Prime Minister rejected his 13 non-negotiable demands. He kept the Prime Minister dangling and then abruptly left, saying he was going to go to dinner with his family. He let Then he let Prime Minister Netanyahu sit for three hours Israel and the United States entered into an agreement in 1975 to guarantee Israel access to oil at reasonable cost. The agreement was twice extended for a ten year term. The State Department did not renew the agreement in November 2014. The Prime Minister was flying to the United States when the President delivered a speech before the United nations. He demanded in his speech that Israel retreat to its’ pre-1967 borders. Rumors are that Israelis was about to unleash its air force on the Iranian nuclear facilities when the Obama Administration warned Israel in 2014 that the United States would shoot down the Israeli jets. Reports are also that President Obama denied access to Israel of the larger bunker busting bombs necessary to destroy Iran’s underground nuclear facilities. A related story is that the Pentagon delayed in resupplying Israel during its recent war with Hamas. The President was caught on a live mike in 2011 with French President Sarkozy, who complained about dealing with Netanyahu. President Obama responded “You’re fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day.” Prime minister Netanyahu won reelection in March 2015. President Obama, who is outraged Russia interfered with our Presidential election, sent operatives and money to Japan to defeat the Prime minister. He also threatened the British if they voted to leave the EU. A high Obama Administration official referred in October 2014 to Prime Minister Netanyahu as “chicken shit.” The President acted now because he could. He is politically liberated. He needed the Jewish vote in 2008. He needed the Jewish vote in 2012. The voters rejected his program in 2010 and 2014. They defeated his globalist successor Hillary Clinton who needed the Jewish vote 6 weeks ago. He is free. He is liberated. He is released. He is embittered. He knows the American public has rejected his policies. He has the power of the Presidency under noon January 20, 2017. He will exercise that power. He will show the world that he is still President and meaningful. He is doing everything in his power to fulfill the program he entered office with 8 years ago. His war on fossil fuels continues. The long term consequences of President Obama’s Israel act are momentous. The United Nations has now effectively branded Israel a rogue nation, fueling the rising global anti-Semitism, including on American campuses. He risks splintering the Democratic Party. The Jewish bloc has been a core constituency of the Democrats since FDR’s New Deal. The President has created identity issues for the scores of Jewish politicians in Congress, state, and local offices. Let’s see how many will support Congressman Keith Ellison of Minnesota as the next Chair of the Democratic National Committee. The globalist President has imperiled Congressional funding of the United Nations. Very few Congressional Republicans are sympathetic to the UN. President Trump will place the interests of Israel above the United Nations. He is giving false hope to the Palestinians. Secretary of State explained that the Israeli Settlements are fueling terrorism. This excuse is as inane as President Obama continually proclaiming that Gitmo promotes terrorism. The reality in Palestine is that the school children are taught in Arabic that Israel is the enemy and terrorism, including suicide bombings, are encouraged. Look for Israel to accelerate the settlements. The Palestinians can have the two nation solution if they want it. They know the conditions. They have to recognize the existence of Israel. They won’t for three reasons. First, they can stay in office while demagogy with the Palestinian population. Second, they can get personally rich through corruption as long as they stay in power. Third, any Palestinian leader understands that any attempt to meaningfully negotiate with Israel can result in an assassination. President Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry and United Nations Ambassador Samantha Powers have made the United States even more feckless than before. President Obama has 24 more days to do additional damage to the United States, its friends and allies, and world order. The fear it’s not over. Secretary of State Kerry is rumored to be delivering a speech soon in which he will essentially attempt to dictate the negotiation terms between Israel and the Palestinians, followed by the Obama Administration pushing that resolution through the United Nations. President Obama begun his Administration by insulting one ally, England, and finished it by betraying a second ally, Israel. In between are Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, ISIS, Libya, Syria, the Russia Reset, China rising in the South China Sea, and Sergeant Bergdahl. The Obama foreign policy has been incredibly hapless, but sadly very consequential. He’s leaving the Mideast more unstable than usual. The proper approach is to take the Obama/Clinton/Kerry foreign policy and do the opposite. (By way of full disclosure, my parents split before my birth. I grew up the son of a single mom with my father staying absolutely, 100% out of my life. I knew his name, that he was from Chicago, that his parents immigrated from Romania, and that he was wounded in World War II during the Italian Campaign. I grew up Christian, attended a Jesuit University, and married in the Church. I found out recently through a DNA test on 23andMe that I am 46.5% Ashkenazi. My dad was Jewish! Thus I am a Christian who is half Jewish)

Statistics can be Fun; Playing Statistical Games with the 2016 Election Results

Statistics can be fun. You can read them any way you wish. As the old saying goes, “Statistics don’t lie; statisticians lie.” Democrats ask how could Secretary Hillary Clinton have lost the Presidential election when she won 2,865,075 more votes than her opponent Donald Trump? Of course, she lost the Electoral College by 306 votes to 232, or is it 304 to 227 after several faithless electors voted for others. How did Hillary win by 2,865,075 votes? She rang up a majority of 4.2 million votes in California and 1.6 million votes in New York States. 1.7 million of her California majority came from Los Angeles County. Hypothetically remove these 2 states and Donald Trump won 2.8 million more votes than Hillary Clinton throughout the rest of the country. Republican candidates for the House of Representatives won 3 million more votes than their Democratic opponents. Donald Trump thereby underperformed the Republican Party in the election. Hillary Clinton actually received 389,944 more votes than President Obama in his 2012 reelection campaign. Yet she underperformed him. His coalition did not turn out for her in the critical states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. She racked up her California supermajority, which was a waste of organization, staffing, and campaign dollars. More damaging to the Democrats is their losses in Congress and at the state level. They have lost over 1,030 legislative seats and governorships from 2009 to 2017. President Obama’s first year in office saw 60 Senate votes (58 D, 2I, including a switch from Republican to Democrat by Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Spector.) Democrats held 255 House seats compared to 179 for the Republicans. The new Congress will show 46 Democrats and 2 Democratic caucusing independents compared to 52 seats for the Republicans. The House of Representatives switched from 255 Democrats and 179 Republicans in 2009 to 241 Republicans and 194 Democrats in 2017. The state level shows even stronger Republican success. The Democrats in 2009 totally controlled 27 state houses (Governor and both legislative branches) compared to 14 for the Republicans. The GOP now holds total control of 25 statehouses compared to only 5 for Democrats. In addition, they hold 32 governorships compared to 16 for the Democrats. President Obama is trying in the final days of his Administration to cement his transformative, progressive legacy. His legacy is a conservative, Republican nation with a befuddled, decimated Democratic Party. President Obama has statistically transformed America. That is a fact.

The Democrats Are Still in a Stage of Denial

The Democratic Post Morten on the Election Wipeout Several different numbers of grief have been promulgated. They almost all start with denial. Many Democrats are still in denial that their magnificent candidate, Secretary Hillary Clinton, could lose to that boorish Donald Trump. Reince Pribus led the Republican Party into s deep post-mortem after the 2012 loss to President Obama. The study prepared several suggestions, many of which Donald Trump ignored in this election. Be that as it may, the RNC took a detailed examination of their failure. Not the DNC and the Democratic leadership. They know why Hillary lost: Alt-right Russian hacking Vladimir Putin hated Clinton Angry White Men Huma Abedin Fake News FBI Director Comey The archaic Electoral College; she won the popular vote Inability to Communicate Message Voter suppression (Voter ID statutes) White Racism Note to DNC, those are not the causes. These are: A flawed candidate, who could not connect with voters An elitist, lying, programmed flawed candidate An elitist bi-coastal Party out of touch with Americans Hubris EMAILS THE CLINTON FOUNDATION A campaign, whose theme was “I’m not Trump” Ran as the status quo rather than a positive program A rigged primary election Irrelevant fact checkers A campaign based on identity politics Computer models and data mining are valuable tools, but they cannot measure the pulse of voters It’s the Economy, Stupid Offer welfare and unemployment to coal miners Don’t be bothered by the small size of your crowds and the large crowds at Trump rallies Yard signs don’t indicate anything Don’t campaign in Wisconsin Ignore Christian voters and trash traditional values In your face social issues Black Lives matter, but so do white lives, yellow lives, brown lives, and Blue Lives ObamaCare Open Borders The War on Coal Dodging the press and limited campaign appearances Americans want jobs, not a transformation

Fake News Alert" Fake News Alarm! Fake News Alert! Read All About It!

HILLARY CLINTON WON THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION The CIA was behind the Russian hacking, not the Russians. The CIA made it look like the Russians were hacking. The Russians did not hack the Podesta emails.; they manufactured them as agit-prop. The North Koreans hacked the Russians hacking the DNC. The Russians found nothing in the DNC hack so they made it up. The Russians had a Hillary clone call the Trump supporters deplorables and irredemables. The Russian Hillary clone told the Kentucky coal miners she would put them out of business, but replace their jobs with welfare. The Russians called upon their moles to infiltrate every polling booth using paper ballots or the mechanical, non-electronic voting machines. The Russians have been secretly financing Donald Trump for 30 years. Donald Trump is ineligible to be President because he was born in his grandfather’s lodge in the Canadian Yukon. Senator Bernie Sander was a Manchurian Candidate. Rosemary Woods created the 18 minute gap in the Clinton emails. ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC, as well as Fox debate hosts, leaked the questions to Donald Trump before each debate. Julian Assange works for the NSA. Wikipedia commissioned the leaks. Hillary Clinton’s aides created the personal email server without her knowledge. The secret Clinton server was actually kept in the Watergate. Senator Bernie Sanders misplayed his role. His appointed task was to make Secretary Clinton look conservative. The election was called before the late votes from Detroit, Philadelphia, and the Texas Hill Country came in. Secretary Clinton’s broken Russian reset was a coded signal to the Russians that she would not play along with them. The Obamas hate the Clintons so the call for a national inquiry into Russian hacking is a diversion to divert attention away from the President’s sabotage of her campaign. Vice President Al Gore hated the Clintons for costing him the 2000 election so he sabotaged her campaign in 2008 and 2016. It is mathematically impossible for Flyover Country to outvote California.

President Elect Trump Visited Columbus Today and the Survivors of the Islamic terrorist Attack; Where Was President Clinton?

More Sudden Jihad Syndrome – This Time in Columbus Columbus, Ohio, the Heartland of America, was attacked a week ago Monday in yet another example, of home-grown Sudden Jihad Syndrome. A young Muslim male seeks salvation with Allah by attacking infidels. Strangely, President Obama exercised the Sounds of Silence on this attack. Not a word of outrage on the attack. Not a word of comfort to the American people. No reaching out to the citizens of Columbus or the students at Ohio State. Just silence! Perhaps because no guns were used in the attack. Thus, not the robotic attack on guns by the President. A car and butcher knife bought that morning from Walmart were the weapons used. I’ve written earlier that guns kill. So do knives, and cars. President Obama is concerned by gun killings, except apparently in Chicago, and white cops killing blacks. A white police officer shot and killed a black teenager in Columbus. Normally President Obama would be decrying the shooting of the Black teenager. Even President Obama realizes that would be stupid. The Administration will not call it terrorism. Nor can it find a reason for the attack. Once again, it’s radical Islamic terrorism through the Sudden Jihad Syndrome. President Elect Donald Trump meet privately today with the victims, families, and first responders in the Columbus. He singled out the heroic police officer who shot and killed the assailant. President Obama remains silent on the attacks He said earlier today that his intelligence briefings did not prepare him for the rise of ISIS. That’s because he didn’t read the briefings half the time and fired intelligence officials, such as General Flynn, who tried warning him of the dangers of ISIS. President Obama was knowingly ignorant of the risks. President Obama hails from Illinois in the Midwest, but he’s not returning to Illinois at the end of his Presidency. He’s staying in D.C. He’s not returning to Flyover Country, the land candidate Clinton referred to as inhabited by “deplorables” And “irredemables.” He doesn’t need Ohioans votes anymore. Why go to a state he doesn’t need which rejected his successor? He’ll rather be golfing than visiting Ohio for fake remorse or reading his daily intelligence briefings.

Let California Pull a Calexit and Secede if it Wishes

If California Wishes to Secede From the Union, Let It California on the left coast is disillusioned with the recent election. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by roughly 2½ million votes, which came from California. The nation’s most populous state with 38 million citizens thinks it lacks political power in the United States. The House Majority Leader, Representative Kevin McCarthy (R. Bakersfield) and House Minority Leader, Representative Nancy Pelosi (D. San Francisco) are from California. California has almost as many people as Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Idaho, West Virginia, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Kansas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Utah, Iowa, Connecticut, and Oklahoma combined, but they have 24 Senate votes compared to only 2 for California. California politicians complain they send more money to Washington than they get back. The numbers would substantially change if California had kept all its military bases rather than abandoning them: The Presidio, Treasure Island, Letterman Army Medical Center, Hunters Point, Alameda Naval Air station, Benicia Arsenal, Fort Ord, Hamilton Air Force Base, Mare Island Naval Shipyard, McClellan Air Force Base, Oakland Naval Air Station, El Toro Marine Air Station, Tustin Marine Air Station, Long Beach Naval Shipyard, Fort Irwin, Norton Air Force Base, George Air Force Base, and Vandenberg Air Force base. California supposedly leads the country and the world, but the red map of America is growing and the blue map is shrinking. The fear 4 decades ago was that California would slide into the Pacific. Just let it slide away, one way or another. The South tried secession 150 years ago. That failed. I read once that it was the industrial strength of the North and the farm boys of Michigan and Ohio that defeated Dixie. Michigan and Ohio won’t fight to keep California in the Union. Look around California for Detroit (and Ohio) cars. California buys Japanese, Korean, and German cars in a “Up Yours” motion to Detroit. Hollywood celebrities, Barbara Streisand, Leah Dunham, et al, who threatened to move to Canada can now stay in the new Peoples Republic of California. The rest of America will no longer have to listen to their political pontifications. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if they had to get a visa to go to Vegas? The rest of America can cut California off from the low cost hydroelectricity of the Pacific Northwest and the waters and hydroelectricity of the Colorado River while California wages war on cattle flatulence to fight global warning. Possible names for the new state: Peoples Republic of California Nueva California Alta California Alta California might even rejoin Baja California. California is outraged at President Elect Trump. San Francisco, which releases illegal immigrants to San Bernardino County and to kill tourists, is a proudly, arrogantly, in your face sanctuary city. Los Angeles is a sanctuary city. Sacramento is a sanctuary city. Oakland is a sanctuary city. California is a sanctuary state. The Los Angeles Unified School District is sanctuary. The University of California is becoming a sanctuary university while the legislature is strangling it financially.. California is a sanctuary state. The newly installed legislature is debating the measures to be enacted to make California a sanctuary state and defeat President Trump. Illegal immigrants is the legislative priority – not the deteriorating roads and streets – not the businesses and individuals fleeing the taxes and regulations of California California is leading the nation in becoming a Nanny State. Let it secede. People have been California Dreaming and flocking to the Golden State for over 200 years. They’re still coming, legally and illegally. The sun, the beaches, the glitter of Hollywood, they come Birthright citizenship, They come. The 49ers came for gold. Today, they come for silicon, in the Valley and implants. Secession is a two-edged sword. Residents of six far north counties in California want to secede from California and become the State of Jefferson, although the state of the eternal high might be more appropriate. Another 16 counties have joined their request West Virginia seceded from Virginia during the Civil War. Let Northern Northern California secede from the Nanny State of California. California voters in November voted for gun control, plastic bag taxes, $2/pack cigarette taxes, taxed recreational marijuana, high income taxes on the rich. The secession sponsors want California to “become a free, sovereign, independent nation. It’s more likely to validate Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. To be fair, the Central Valley and Inland Empire should also join the State of Jefferson, thereby separating Red California from Blue California. The Central Valley, the country’s largest agricultural producer, is California’s flyover country to the coastal elitists. They tolerate Riverside Country in the Inland Empire only because Palm Springs is there. Orange County would join them, but it’s turning purple. Nueva California will be left with Silicon Valley, Hollywood, tourism, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Haight Asbury, Disneyland, and jammed freeways. Two thoughts for the tax and spenders salivating in California. First, they could keep all the tax dollars flowing to Washington. Second, the redistributionists would not be constrained by the Bill of Rights or other provisions of the Constitution.

Donald Trump, Flag Burning, Hampshire College, and the Media

Donald Trump set off a firestorm last Tuesday when he tweeted “Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag – if they do, there must be consequences – perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail.” The media went ballistic. They dumped on Trump because his view was "unconstitutional." The Supreme Court has upheld flag burning as constitutionally protected freedom of speech. They accused him of subverting traditional American values. The media hasn’t learned a thing from the Presidential election. They incessantly attacked him from July through November. He won big time; they lost. The more they dumped on him, the stronger he became with his base. They continue to question his every act. As with the American Flag. The hard working Americans in flyover country; President Obama’s clingers, Secretary Clinton’s deplorables and irredeemables, believe in traditional American values: hard work, family values, law and order, God, country and the American Flag. They voted for Trump and the Republicans. The media voted with its column inches and dollars for Clinton. The people won. The Flag is the symbol of America. We pledge allegiance to the American Flag, not the bald eagle, not the President, not Congress – The Flag. We pledge allegiance to the Flag in elementary school. We pledge allegiance to the Flag at City Council meetings. Our national anthem is the Star Spangled banner. The elites and media in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco have forgotten American values; they no longer understand the Heartland. The Heartland understands Donald Trump. The AP is still fact checking Donald trump. The Heartland is listening to Donald Trump. The media’s incessant fact checking of Donald trump didn’t hurt his campaign. Hillary Clinton’s jibes in the debate about fact checking Donald Trump didn’t hurt him. There are facts, and there are beliefs. The fact is that Americans believe in the Flag. Most believe, regardless of the Supreme Court, that flag burning should be a crime. Hampshire College, a private university in Massachusetts, lowered the Flag to half-staff the day after the election. Someone on campus burned the Flag that night. Jonathan Lash, the President of Hampshire College, then ordered the Flag removed from campus. He emailed the Hampshire community: “We hope this will enable us to instead focus on addressing racist, misogynistic, islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behavior.” The response was not quite what he expected. Many vicious and some supportive emails were sent to the campus. I000 veterans and supporters showed up on Sunday waving American flags. Hampshire College is an alternative college. You can call if Alt-Left. Who do the American people support on the Flag? Donald Trump or Hampshire College? The media still does not understand the Trump phenomenon.

Other Ballot Measures on Tuesday's Election

California, Maine, Massachusetts and Nevada voted to legalize recreational marijuana. All four Clinton states need to get high to recover from Tuesday’s election. They join three other Clinton States, Colorado, Oregon and Washington in toking up. Alaska is the only Trump state that legalizes recreational marijuana. The Evergreen Washington State rejected a “revenue neutral” carbon tax. That tax will also be going nowhere in the Trump Administration. Albany, California, Boulder, Colorado, San Francisco, and Oakland voted to fight childhood obesity by imposing soda taxes, the effect of which will be to push soda sales to neighboring stores. The taxes will be ineffective in fighting obesity. What will be next? Sugared cookies, pastries, donuts, rolls, ice cream, candy, fruit juices, flavored milk? What about Animal Crackers? How about Twinkies? Four states, Arizona, Colorado, Maine, and Washington voted to increase the minimum wage, thereby raising the Black teenage unemployment rate. Massachusetts in response to teacher union ads rejected an increase in charter schools. California voters signed on to tax, bond, and spend measures. They even agreed to pay 10 cents/plastic bag at retailers. Stater Brothers, the self-proclaimed "low-cost leader," immediately charged ten cents per bag. Let’s see if a repeal provision will be on the ballot in a year. They rejected though a ban on capital punishment, but voted instead to seed up the process, which will be ineffective against anti-capital punishment judges. Los Angeles County made large strides in diversity. Two women were elected to the 5 member County Board of Supervisors, which now has four women, including a Latina, and an African American male. Incidentally, each supervisor has an annual slush fund of $3 million and long term limits. California and Nevada approved stricter gun control measures. Strict gun control laws have been incredibly ineffective in Chicago. Los Angeles, Seattle, and the San Francisco Bay Area supported mass transit. Los Angeles voters also approved funding for homeless shelters and more low income housing. Colorado defeated a single payer healthcare proposal, but approved assisted suicide. San Diego voters overwhelmingly rejected a new stadium for the San Diego Chargers, also known as the “Bolts,” who will bolt the city, thereby joining the Clippers who left San Diego decades ago. Yorba Linda voters were incensed by a $25 water rate increase. They voted to recall the directors who approved the rate increases. The biggest surprise of Tuesday was not the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Instead, as blue turned red on the national map, Orange County, California, the reddest of the red for 80 years, turned blue. Orange County voted for Hillary.

Lessons From Tuesday

1)“It’s still the economy, stupid.” Governor Clinton won election in 1992 as the economy was coming out of a minor recession. Senator Obama won election in 2008 in the depths of the Great Recession. Donald Trump won election Tuesday because globalization was killing manufacturing jobs in the Rust Belt. 2) The Democrats have been waging class warfare for two decades; it bit back Tuesday 3) The white vote still matters. White voters were 70% of Tuesday voters. 58% voted for Donald Trump. White, working class Americans vote. 4) The Hispanic vote will be critical in future elections; it is already costing the GOP California, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico, and soon Arizona. Maricopa County (Phoenix) voters out Sheriff Joe Arpaio after 6 terms. The GOP cannot survive as a white only party. California sent three new Latinos to Congress and Nevada a Latina Senator. 5) The Republicans still lag in reaching out to the also increasing Asian American population. 6) Broad generalizations, such as Hispanic or Asian, are a broad disservice since ethnicity is often not a unitary phenomenon 7) The Democrats vaunted ground game failed. 8) Money doesn’t always buy elections Donald Trump was greatly outspent in the primaries while the Clinton Campaign outspent the Trump Campaign 2:1 in the general election. Donald Trump understood the message voters wanted to hear; Hillary Clinton did not. 9) Polling is as much a science as economics; the only poll that matters is the one on election day. Even Nate Silver lost some of his luster. 10) Political pundits are as accurate as the Delphic Oracle 11) The media is not as powerful as it once was 12) The mainstream media, which showed neither pride nor shame in shilling for Hillary Clinton this election, proved it no longer controls elections 13) The climate is changing 14) The Hollywood celebrities threatening to move to Canada or Australia have not been packing their bags. 15) The Democratic Party, which was anticipating a 1964 Goldwater Landslide, suffered its third landslide loss in 6 years (2010, 2014, 2016). The Presidency, Senate, House, 2/3 of the governors, 69 of the 99 state legislative chambers, 29 state attorney generals and 31 secretaries of state, are in Republican hands. They are in full control of 25 states compared to 4 for the Democrats. The Democratic Party is in worse shape than the GOP was in 1964 and 1974. The Democratic Party needs to engage in serious soul searching. 16) About 150,000 voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin decided the Presidency, the destiny of the United States, and decades of the Supreme Court. 17) The national vote may be almost even, but America is much more center right than it is progressive left 18) President Obama did not believe in American exceptionalism and did not understand the American Spirit. He drank too deeply of the Liberation Theology of reverent Jeremiah Wright and thought America, especially white America, was an oppressor nation and people. He did what he could, which was all too much, to destroy that America. 19) Right to Work is coming to Missouri, Missouri, and New Hampshire, joining 26 existing states. Traditional Big Labor is in trouble, unless President Trump can restore the manufacturing base of the United States. 20) The Clintons are a spent force in American politics. 21) “The times, they are a’changing.”

Look at the Blue/Red Map to Understand the Trump Victory

Check the Blue/Red map to Explain Donald Trump’s Epic Victory A look at the Red/Blue map explains the Trump Victory. The country is solidly red between the Alleghenies and the Sierras except for a few large cities and some progressive college towns, such as Ann Arbor, Michigan and Madison, Wisconsin. Flyover Country, the home of Hillary’s “deplorables”and "irredeemables," the Heartland of America, the Rust Belt, rebelled against the elitism and statism of New York City, the District of Columbia, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Hollywood, and Los Angeles. Flyover Country may enjoy Hollywood movies, but they are repelled by Hollywood values. Secretary Clinton surrounded herself with celebrities in the final days of the campaign rather than hard working Americans. The Democratic Party was reduced to the Northeast and the Pacific Coast along with Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, and Minnesota. Even in these states the rural counties are painted red. The Heartland reflects the Spirit of America and traditional values. America voted for Hope and Change eight years ago, but the change they got was not the change they wanted. They got high taxes, excessive regulation, and transfer payments. The hard workers are tired of subsidizing the non-workers as they see their jobs disappearing. They got contempt by the Obamanistas, media, and academics. The War on Coal, stalling the Keystone Pipeline and the Dakota Access Pipeline, and fighting fracking, cost Americans jobs in the Heartland. The coal miners of America did not like the Obama-Clinton “change” of being told by Secretary Clinton that she would put the coal industry out of business, but give the miners welfare benefits to survive. The blue mining counties of Ohio and Pennsylvania turned red on Tuesday. The progressive state of Wisconsin is becoming a solid blue state. The unemployed textile workers in the South do not appreciate free trade. A large factor in Tuesday’s vote was the Supreme Court. Mid-America does not like the Supreme Court legislating on social issues and traditional family values. I have been supportive of gay marriage, but cautioned against doing it through judicial legislation to which there has been an elector backlash Tuesday. The coastal elites don’t understand the Heartland. The silent majority does not demonstrate, riot, loot, or protest. They don’t burn the American Flag. The silent majority spoke at the ballot box yesterday. They seethed until Tuesday. The anti-Clinton vote was not based on racism, sexism, homophobia. It was not caused by FBI Director James Comey or WikiLeaks. It was based on ObamaCare, excessive federal regulation, feeble reactions to terrorist attacks on the police, the breakdown of law and order, the attacks on religion, especially Christianity and Judaism, the diminution of the military, the Iran deal, a failed, feckless foreign policy, corruption in the government, VA incompetence, attacks on gun ownership, a collapsing education system, Open Borders, media bias and contempt, the endless lies – all of the above as a package. The American worker was forgotten by the bi-coastal elites. The people wanted leadership. Donald Trump presented leadership throughout the election cycle. He did not back down. Secretary Clinton was a corrupt, highly flawed candidate who offered more of the same, more of the Obama failures. Americans said No More on Tuesday Their voice was loud. It was individually quiet, but collectively the people found their voice. The warning signs were ignored by the political leaders of both parties. Middle America reacted to the first two years of the Obama Administration by unleashing a blood red tsunami in the 2010 midterm elections. The Republican tidal wave swept through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The Republicans ended up controlling most State Houses with governorships and legislative houses in the Midwest. Both parties tried to suppress the Tea Parties, the Democrats more viciously through the IRS. Donald Trump, a lapsed liberal Democrats, ran as a Republican with no ties to the GOP leadership. Senator Bernie Sanders reaped 45% of the Democratic primary vote, but had no chance of winning the nomination because of a rigged process. The Washington, D.C. Establishment did not understand the Tea Party, Trump, or Bernie. They did not listen. They could understand the gender gap but not the Enthusiasm Gap. The forgotten Americans went back to work today, quietly.

The Long and Winging Road to Tomorrow's Election Day: What Have We Learned From the Candidates?

After 12 years of running for President, Hillary is Hillary. She is the same avaricious, arrogant, duplicitous, mendacious, snarky candidate as ever. She is the epitome of the Peter Principle in action. After 1 year of running for President, The Donald remains The Donald. He remained the same thin skinned, misogynist, bloviating, hyperbole braggart, not-ready-for-prime-time candidate. The reality TV star was not quite ready for prime time. We know every sin they may have committed in their life, but little of their policies. They tell us, but the media doesn’t cover it. Thus the campaign became one of negativity between two of the most unpopular candidates in American presidential history. They offer us two candidates with strong negatives. Senator Obama 8 years ago offered America “Hope and Change,” a positive message during the Great Recession. Secretary Clinton famously said “When they go low, we go high.” The closing 5 days of her campaign has been a rabid campaign of negative ads. She could emulate President Richard Nixon in 1972 by winning a landslide election, but then flaming out. WikiLeaks is not going away. Donald Trump is right in calling her “Crooked Hillary.” Hillary Clinton could be this year’s Dilma Rouseff. She is proven corrupt. She’s always been avaricious, but became thoroughly corrupt with the Clinton Foundation and the State Department. Both candidates understand “Pay to Play.” Donald was a constant contributor to politicians, usually Democrats, who could help his developments. “Pay to Play is a form of business expense for developers like Donald Trump. Campaign contributions, within established rules, are both legal and corrupting. Hillary Clinton understands “Pay to Play’ as she and her husband benefitted from it during her tenure as Secretary of States. Donald Trump had many opportunities to gain an advantage during the election, but squandered them on unfocused personal attacks on Muslims, Mexicans, women and fellow Republicans. If Hillary Clinton wins it will because Donald Trump unified the Obama coalition of Millennials, women, African Americans, and Hispanics for his opponent. She could not have done it on her own. And yet, he’s still competitive. Or am I acting like Charley Brown with the football? Every time Charley is about to kick the football, Lucy pulls it away. Once again it looks like the Republicans have a solid chance for the White House. Will it be yanked away yet again? The Republican leadership recognized 4 years ago that the Republican Party could not succeed as a Whites only party. It had to open itself to Hispanics, Asians, and African Americans. Donald Trump is trying to prove a Republican can win the Presidency by courting under-educated Whites without a strong ground game and worsening the gender gap. That would be like pulling an inside straight. He’s in danger of becoming this year’s Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell and Todd Akin. They lost winnable Senate seats. He may lose a winnable Presidential election. His campaign is a case of “Rage Against the Machine,” the corrupt machine of the establishment. Donald Trump is campaigning for The Forgotten Man and Richard Nixon's Silent Majority. Her campaign is “More of the Same,” or SOS. He has allied against him the mainstream media, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, the elites, women, minorities, the FBI and Justice Department. And yet he’s still competitive. The Republicans need to change their primary rules if he loses the general election. First is to allow more superdelegates. Donald Trump could not have won the republican nomination if the republican nominating process had the same proportion of Super Delegates as the Democratic National Convention. The second is to eliminate cross voting from the Republican primaries. Only registered Republicans should be allowed to vote in republican primaries and caucuses. The non-republicans provided his early caucus and primary victories. And yet he can win. Where is Charley Brown? Two alternative outcomes Tuesday night would be a fitting climax to this election. The first would be if Hillary Clinton, like Al Gore, won a majority of the votes cast, but Donald Trump wins the electoral college. That outcome is possible because of the enormous Clinton majority vote expected in California. The second would be if neither candidate achieves 270 electoral votes, throwing the election into the House of representatives.

Everything You Need to Know About the California Ballot Measures

Everything You Wanted to Know About the California Ballot Elections, and Couldn’t Understand It's simple; they are almost all tax and spending increases. States, cities, and counties raise taxes when the economy collapses. They simply cannot cut expenditures, unlike private businesses. California is proving that states, counties and cities will also raise taxes during boom times. 17 state wide propositions are on the statewide ballot this November. An additional 427 local tax and bond measures are also on the ballot. The vast majority directly or indirectly raise taxes, especially the sales tax. The underlying cause is the uncontrolled escalation of public pension benefits, which is crowding out expenditures from the general funds. It’s the entitlement nation run amuck. Unless government can control spending, the tax increases and bonding will squeeze out the private sector, which generates economic growth. This year’s California budget is $170.9 billion, an increase of $288.4 billion in 5 years. Proponents often claim the tax increases will go to dedicated purposes, but that is often a deceitful statement. The tax increase is not even mentioned in some proposals. Let’s look at the 17 statewide ballot propositions. Prop 51 is a $9 billion bond issues for the state’s public schools – to fix existing schools and build new ones. There’s no money available in the general fund for the schools eventhough 40% of all new tax revenues goes to schools. Too much of the school funding goes to pensions and high teacher salaries. The proposition is being sold to the public as a means to fix the schools without a tax increase. No tax increase! The voters often don’t understand that the interest and principle on these bonds must be paid out of the general fund. The state already has $75 billion in general obligation bonds outstanding. This figure does not include the unsecured obligations such as the unfunded pension plans. Estimated debt payments out of this year’s general fund will be $1.6 billion. Tom Torlakson, the union supported State Superintendent of Instruction, said “The state ran out of money 2½ years ago. There is a long line of school projects.” Is that a list of "Shovel ready jobs?" Proposition 52 has overwhelming support. It preserves an existing “tax” on hospitals that are used to reap billions in Medi-Cal reimbursements from the federal government and prohibits the legislature from diverting the funds to other purposes. Proposition 53 has overwhelming opposition who never say what its about. Prop 53 would require a public vote on any revenue bonds of $2 billion or more. Prop 54 requires a 72 hour waiting period between posting of a bill and a legislative vote. Prop 55 is another deceptive measure, entitled Tax Extension to Fund Education and Health Care.”. It extends the “temporary” “Millionaire’s Tax” increase approved by voters in 2012 during the deep California budget crisis. The state income tax of 13.8%, the highest state income tax in the nation, starts at a single person’s income at $250,000. The state political and union leaders seem mesmerized by Hollywood and Silicon Valley and do not notice the flight of companies and entrepreneurs from the state. Prop 56 is being sold as an anti-tobacco tax by raising the tobacco tax to $2/pack. It also imposes a 67% increase in the tax on e-cigarettes. Only a small percent goes to anti-smoking campaigns. 56% of the estimated $1.27 million revenue increase goes to the Medi-Cal program. Substantial opposition, funded by the tobacco companies, exists on the grounds that Prop 56 diverts money to special interests, “Stop the Special Interest Tax Grab,” contra to the normal 40% of new tax revenues to public education. The high cigarette tax will boost the bootlegging of cigarettes into the state. Prop 57 is a “Get out of Jail” free card deceptively marketed as Imprisonment of violent offenders and rehabilitation for others with early release. As with the Prop 47 a few years ago, no money is allocated for rehabilitation. Instead on increasing jail capacity, Governor Jerry Brown is intent on freeing prisoners. The prisoners eligible for early release include rapists, child molesters, and human traffickers. California prosecutors and law enforcement are overwhelmingly opposed to Prop 60, byt they are being drowned out by the affirmative side. Prop 58 repeals the 1998 California referendum banning bilingual education in the public school. Prop 59 is an attempt in California to repeal the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision. It’s a meaningless vote with no practical effect. Prop 60 will determine whether the actors in porn films must wear condoms. The $10 billion industry, based in the San Fernando valley, threatens to move to Vegas if it passes. Let them move to Vegas along with the Oakland raiders. If the actors want to risk STD’s with rampant unprotected sex, let them. Prop 61 is advertised as a means to restrain prescription drug prices. In reality, it only affects somewhere between 12-18% of prescription drug sales. The risk is that the drug companies will raise prices for everyone else. A tremendous advertising campaign has been mounted against Prop 61. Props 62 and 66 are competing capital punishment measures. Prop 62 will retroactively ban capital punishment in California. inmates currently on Death Row will have their sentences change to life imprisonment. Prop 66 will speed up the process. Take your pick! Even if Prop 66 passes and Prop 62 fails, the activist anti-capital punishment federal and state judges will sabotage it. The last execution in California was in 2006. 746 criminals currently reside in San Quentin’s Death Row. Prop 63 imposes even stricter gun control measures in California. It’s another way to boost business in Nevada. Prop 64 legalizes recreational marijuana. Californians previously approved medicinal marijuana which became a farce. Walk in “clinics” sprung up next to marijuana dispensaries. A 5 minute consult results in a prescription for marijuana. Just cut the hypocrisy, legalize marijuana. Many legislators and local officials are salivating and getting high on the 15% tax on marijuana products. and impose a tax on it is the Proposition. That leaves the plastic bag referendums of Prop 63 and 65. The state’s grocery chains reached agreement with the state legislators to impose a bag fee with the proceeds going to the retailers as consumers are ripped off. Prop 63 will divert the proceeds away from the retailers to a new environmental fund administered by the State Wildlife Conservation Fund. Prop 65 will ban the bag tax. On a local level Los Angeles, both the city and county, love tax increases. Measure A will impose a parcel tax of 1.5 cents per square foot of built space to support parks. Measure FF imposes a $15 dollar tax for fire protection and open space in a hillside district of the San Fernando Valley. Los Angeles County’s Measure M sales tax increase is being marketed as a means to relieve congestion. It involves retention and progressive increases in ½ cent gas taxes. “Relieve congestion” is the mantra for the estimated $120 billion over 4 decades. The reality is that almost all of the revenue will go into expanding rail mass transit. The Los Angeles Times said it might result in a 15% less time stuck in traffic in the year 2057. The state’s highways and roads will continue to deteriorate. Los Angeles’ Proposition HHH also seeks $1.2 billion in bonds for homeless housing and services. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said the bond receipts will “free up money for other services.” How much will actually relieve the homeless crisis versus creation of a new bureaucracy remains to be seen. Fountain valley in orange County proposes a 1 cent sales tax increase for “Fountain Valley 911 Response Police-Fire/Essential City Services.” It’s hard to vote against the fire and police, but the proceeds will actually go into the city’s general fund without being earmarked for police or fire. La Palma’s proposed one cent sale tax is more honest. It says it’s to “maintain existing services.” San Clemente’s 00 will raise the hotel tax from the existing 10% to 13%. The %570,000 will go into the city’s general budget. It’s easy to approve a tax increase that applies to non-residents. Santa Ana’s Measure PP promises “strict limits” on the salaries of the City Council Members, but will raise their salaries from $125/month to $1,000/month. Both Oakland and San Francisco seek to impose soda taxes, which will be good to merchants in San Mateo and Alameda Counties. San Francisco Bay Area voters will determine the fate of a $3.5 billion bond issue for BART. Almost all the proceeds will go to shoring up the pension plans of Bart workers. Police, fire, parks, recreation, schools, California, its cities, counties, and district, are running out of money. Tax increases and bonds are like sticking fingers in a leaky dam. It won’t stop the bleeding.

What Will FBI Director James Comey Do With His Clinton Email Milligan

President William Jefferson Clinton was notorious for Mulligans on the golf course. FBI Director Mulligan took a Mulligan Friday with the Clinton emails. We know he received blowback from the FBI agents and Justice Department lawyers who diligently investigated the Clinton emails before he exonerated Secretary Clinton. We know the daily drip of disclosures about the inadequacy of the FBI investigation further reinforces the view that a political fix was at work. FBI Director Comey publicly indicted secretary Clinton on July 5, all but saying she lied on several instances in her statements to the public. However, he refused to indict her, explaining there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Secretary Clinton or her staff for violations of the Espionage Act and closed the file, ignoring possible conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges. He said no evidence of intent was shown (The statute does need intent), but that she was “extremely careless” in handling confidential material. The prosecutorial determination is not in the jurisdiction of the FBI. The FBI can arrest, but not indict or prosecute. Those decisions are for the prosecutors, or the Attorney General herself, in the Department of Justice. How bad was the Clinton investigation once it went up the ladder? Attorney General Lynch met for an hour with President Bill Clinton on an airport tarmac five days before the perfunctory FBI interview with Secretary Clinton. She said they talked about golf, travel, and grandchildren – nothing about retaining her job in the Clinton Administration. The Attorney General has politicized the Department of Justice just as the earlier politicization of the IRS. The FBI interview with secretary Clinton was not under oath, was untaped Clinton aides Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson were granted limited immunity in exchange for turning over their laptops, with the FBI agreeing to subsequently destroy the laptops. The normal procedure would have been a grand jury investigation with a broad issuance of subpoenas. Director Comey fell on his sword for Attorney General Roberta Lynch and President Obama on July 5. He saved the partisan AG from making a blatantly political decision in the heat of the Presidential election. It would have been politically deadly if the President had to pardon Secretary Clinton prior to Election Day. He may still have to do so. The Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, did not recuse himself with a major conflict of interest. Terry McAuliffe’s PAC gave $452,000 to his wife’s, Dr. Jill Mcabe, unsuccessful race for a Virginia Senate seat. The Virginia Democratic Party, which he controlled, gave another $207,788 to her campaign. Hillary Clinton headlined a $500,000 fundraiser for Dr. McCabe. All that is perfectly legal. Mr. McCabe was Associate Deputy Director of the FBI at that time. He was promoted last February to Deputy Director, the number 2 in the FBI, and oversaw the Clinton Email investigation. He had a clear conflict of interest. Everyone seems to have ignored the classic maxim: “Not only must justice be done, it must appear to be done.” Director Comey could cloak himself in the credibility and image of the FBI to shield POTUS and the AG. The initial question is why? Three possible answers arise. The first is payback time. We know that Comey prostrated himself before the Obama Administration to get the FBI appointment. Remember the Godfather who asked for a favor to be returned sometime in the future? The chit was called in on the Clinton emails. The second theory is equally troublesome. It became clear early in the FBI investigation that President Obama used a pseudonym to privately communicate with Secretary Clinton through her private, unsecured server. In other words President Obama was equally complicit in the illegal activity. To indict Clinton would implicate the President. The third thesis is practical. You do not indict the President or a Presidential nominee unless you believe you can get a conviction. The odds that a jury in Washington, D.C. would convict a Clinton are exceedingly small. Take your pick Comey was feeling the heat afterwards. He would ignore the WikiLeaks disclosures. He would live with the internal and external blowback. He would let the politicized Department of Justice tamp down any investigation of the Clinton Foundation and the allegations of pay-to-play. He would ignore the inevitable leaks from disgruntled FBI agents. Then came the treasure trove of disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner’s emails along with those of his wife. Thousands and thousands of who knows what. Huma Abedin deleted nothing from her email; no BleachBit for Huma He could not ignore those, or he wished to reacquire a veneer of integrity. He realized that he had contributed to the politicization (or corruption n Donald Trump’s favorite accusation) of corruption in the Justice department and now the FBI. Perhaps he realizes that being further sucked into the muck of the Clintongate Swamp would not be good for his future. He is now receiving the standard Democratic slime attack. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, in his usual manner, is claiming the FBI may be in violation of the Hatch Act. Others are calling Comey’s act of sending the letter as unprofessional. The charge is based on the presupposition that the FBI and Justice Department will not act to interfere with the outcome of the Presidential Campaign. Yet, 4 days before the end of the 1992 Bush-Clinton campaign, a Special Prosecutor who answered to the Justice Department, indicted Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger and indicated President George H. W. Bush was involved in the Iranian Arms for Hostages deal. A judge later dropped the charges. President Clinton would probably have won anyway because President Bush ran a poor campaign, but the indictment cost him votes. . The Clintonisitas continue to spin and misinform. Everything goes back to Russian hacking to rig the United States election. We don’t know who hacked whom, but we now know that John Podesta’s server was compromised because Podesta and his staff fell for a phishing attack apparently from the Ukraine. No matter what the FBI does, or the election results, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be going to jail. President Obama will pardon her, if necessary. James Comey has his Mulligan. Will he find violations of the Espionage Act, perjury or obstruction of justice, and then do the right act of recommending indictments, or will he fall on his sword again, becoming a complete buffoon and further damaging the image of the FBI.

A Second Letter From Scholars and Writers for America (Trump)

(Sorry about the way the copy and paste came out - Try this link http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/11/01/bill-bennett-f-h-buckley-call-for-gop-unity-and-neverhillary.html) Scholars and Writers for America Statement of Unity We are a group of scholars and writers who support Donald Trump, and who in our previous letter wrote that “given our choices in the presidential election, we believe that Donald Trump is the candidate most likely to restore the promise of America.” We continue to believe this, and today urge opponents of the progressive agenda to put aside any differences and to join with us, as a vote for Donald Trump is the only feasible method of defending the principles of freedom, justice and prosperity we hold in common against the most serious threat we have ever faced, a threat that begins to look like the final defeat of republican government, and the permanent decline of the country we love. Constitutional Governance. Under Obama we have departed from the Founders’ constitution of separation of powers towards one-man rule by the president. With Mrs. Clinton, we’d expect to see an even greater slide towards an all-powerful presidency, and the judges she would appoint could be expected to bless the attendant threat to political liberty. By contrast, Donald Trump has pledged to appoint judges in the mold of Justice Scalia, and his agenda for change is importantly a legislative one. We expect he would work with Congress, as the Founders intended. Corruption in Government. Were Mrs. Clinton elected, “Clinton Cash” would move into the White House. Crony capitalism, the silent killer of the American economy, would increasingly burden entrepreneurs with wasteful regulations that serve to transfer wealth from dispersed lower and middle-class Americans to the rich and well-connected. By contrast, Donald Trump’s proposals for regulatory reform and for ending the revolving door between Congress and K Street lobbyists would serve to promote an honest and just government and to restore economic growth. Economic Stimulus. Donald Trump’s Tax Code and energy proposals would release the engines of economic growth and put America back to work again. With Mrs. Clinton, by contrast, we’d see higher taxes, job-killing regulations and economic malaise. Religious Liberty. We would expect that attacks upon religious institutions, begun under Obama, would increase were Mrs. Clinton elected. By contrast, Donald Trump has pledged to defend our religious institutions. Education. Our K-12 public educational system is a disgrace, and Mrs. Clinton would do nothing to change this. By contrast, Donald Trump’s support for a voucher system for charter and parochial schools would be a most welcome game changer. Oct. 30, 2016 Bruce Abramson, Ph.D., J.D. Operation FUBAR: The Pentagon is Hounding California National Guard Members for the return of their Enlistment Bonuses Plus Penalties

Who is the Pentagon Bureaucrat Hounding California National Guard members for the Return of their Enlistment Bonuses? The story broke yesterday that the Pentagon is seeking the return of enlistment bonuses paid to California National Guard members a decade ago for their reimbursement. The Pentagon seeks $20 million from 10,500 soldiers. It is executing a blitzkrieg on their finances. The Pentagon is not seeking to return their broken and missing limbs, their shattered psyches from PTSD, or their lives. The Pentagon will let them retain their purple hearts. The heartless, anti-military Obama Administration is seeking not only the amount of the original bonuses, but also a 1% processing fee, interest and penalties. It is showing a fury against our brave soldiers, a fury not shown against the nation’s enemies, a fury previously hidden in the Obama Administration, a fury not shown in Afghanistan or Iraq, a fury against our wounded warriors. $1.7 trillion in cash to Iran’s murderous mullahs, but $20 million back from our valiant warriors. The Pentagon claims that an audit showed enlistment improper bonuses were paid through the California National Guard, and thus need to be repaid. If anyone screwed up on the enlistment bonuses, it was California, but the Pentagon is only seeking the money back from the innocent soldiers who put their lives on the line for their country. I have to believe the Secretary of Defense and other top management officials in the Pentagon would not be so stupid as to sign off on this FUBAR, which we will now label Operation FUBAR. We have to presume that the politically savvy Top Brass would understand the political blowback and public relations nightmare of stiffing our valiant warriors in Operation FUBAR. If they signed off on it, then we are in worse shape than thought. The VA Scandal is an ongoing nightmare for the Pentagon. Operation FUBAR magnifies the Administration’s disregard for the military. Operation FUBAR smacks of a decision by a low echelon, pencil pushing, bean counting bureaucrat.

Donald Trump Is Right in Refusing to Immediately Sign On to the November Election Returns; A Rigger Election is a Distinct Possibility

Chris Wallace asked Donald Trump if he would accept the election returns Trump answered we “would look at it at the time.” The media went ballistic, as if Donald Trump was caught in flagrante delicto committing treason. They claim it is impossible to rig a national election. Yet the Democrats are crying “The Russians Are Coming; The Russians Are Coming” as Vladimir Putin is attempting to control the American election. You don’t have to rig the vote nationally, but only in a few states, and just a few counties in those states. Mayor Daley in Chicago and “Landslide” Lyndon Johnson in Texas proved that you could rig the vote in 1960 to elected JFK President. Landslide Lyndon earned his nickname with his fraudulent 87 vote victory in the 1948 Senate Democratic primary in Texas. Remember Al Gore and Florida in 2000. He contested the Florida vote. We learned all about hanging chads and butterfly ballots. Vice President Al Gore, the Democratic Party and the connivance of the Florida Supreme Court tried to reverse the voting results and deliver the state and national election to Al Gore. Their mantra was “All votes count,” but they tried to exclude the absentee military votes, which are often delayed in reaching Florida. The Supreme Court 7-2 ended that madness, but even years later Senator Hillary Clinton joined the Democratic chorus in proclaiming President George W. Bush was “selected, not elected.” Donald trump believes the election is rigged. Why not? Senator Bernard Sanders believed the Democratic primary season was rigged for Secretary Clinton. He was right; the Wiki Leaks disclosures affirm that theory. The Justice Department said it will selectively monitor polling booths. The Justice Department has become a political arm of the Obama Administration. FBI Director James Comey has subverted the FBI to the Obama Administration and Clinton campaign over her emails. The Internal Revenue Service, which was caught discriminating against The Tea Party and other conservative organizations, is still slow balling them. A Federal judge just ordered the IRS to expedite the Tea Party applications by November 11, 2016, three days after the Presidential election. The Republicans want voter ID. The Democrats oppose it. Why? Voter fraud Early voting by mail is especially susceptible to fraudulent voting. Anecdotal evidence exists of mass signature signings in dormitories and nursing homes, and registering large numbers of non-citizens. Virginia Governor, Terry McAuliffe, an old friend, ally and bagman, of the Clintons, attempted to register almost all 200,000 ex-cons in Virginia; most of whom will vote Democratic. The Virginia Supreme Court overturned that, but he is back to granting the vote to at least 13,000 ex-cons. Florida showed that only a few votes can determine the election. Virginia is a key battleground state this election. Donald Trump will have trouble winning the election if he loses Virginia. Donald Trump believes the election may be rigged. The Veritas Tapes show Democratic operatives hiring “thugs” to ferment violence at Trump rallies. The Veritas tapes show the Democratic operative telling how to organize fraudulent voting. Scott Foval bragged they were doing it for 50 years. James Cramer, one of the operatives, visited the White House 342 times during the Obama Administration and met with the President 47 times. Dirty tricks! Of course Donald Trump believes the election may be rigged.

The Democratic National Committee Bus Sewage Discharge Exemplifies This Year's Presidential Campaign

Workers at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store at 525 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia yesterday noticed a bus dumping human waste (sewage) onto the roadway and into a sewer. Toilet paper was in the foul smelling The hazardous wastes were cleaned by a Gwinnett County Haz Mat Team. The bus was a Democratic National Campaign bus in Georgia. The Democrats are normally for cleaning the environment, not polluting it. The DNC spinned it today. They couldn’t deny it. The store manager took photos of the bus. The big signs on the bus said: “HILLARYCLINTON.com Stronger Together” “I’m with her” How do you spin dumping raw sewage into a storm drain? The DNC said it was “an honest mistake.” The driver noticed the sewage tank was full and leaking. The driver was concerned that continuing would put other drivers on the road at risk. It’s a criminal act, referred to the Georgia Environmental Protection Department. This year’s election is figuratively and literally in the gutter. This year’s campaign is in the gutter. Here are issues that the American people are deciding for the future: Benghazi Budget Deficit Campaign Financing China Civil Rights Climate Change Clinton Foundation College Tuition Drugs Energy Entitlements Environment Family Values Guns Immigration Inequality Infrastructure Iran Keystone Pipeline Medicare Medicaid Middle Class MidEast Minimum East ObamaCare Police Religious Rights and Freedom Reproductive Rights Russia Social Security Supreme Court Syria Taxation Terrorism Voting Rights Women’s Rights Not Donald Trump’s sex life and misogynist remarks Not Bill Clinton’s rapacious behavior The past two weeks have been about a 12 year old tape. Sex sells Salacious attracts attention – not so much the real issues The issues facing America’s future are not Donald or Bill’s sex life. Donald Trump had warned earlier in the campaign that if the Clintons made an issue of his morals, then he would respond with Bill Clinton’s. The Clintons did not raise his past, but an accommodating media did. The Clinton Campaign jumped on board. Donald Trump fulfilled his threat. He pulled the Clintons into the gutter with him. The media started it. The sewage truck exemplifies it.

The Republicans Should Heed the Lessons of 1964 and 1974

The media is highlighting the “Civil War” within the Republican Party; Donald Trump’s “doomed” campaign is supposedly tearing the Party apart, as distinguished Republicans repudiate him, seemingly en masse. Dump Trump, they say. Oh, the memories of 1964. A conservative Senator from Arizona, Barry Goldwater, wrestled the Republican nomination away from the eastern Republican establishment, which would be referred to today as Rhinos. Goldwater’s supporters were as ardent as this year’s Donald Trump’s. The Rockefellers, et al, were enraged. Goldwater was conservative. He questioned Social Security. Primary opponent after primary opponent, ending with Governor Scranton of Pennsylvania, fell to the Goldwater onslaught. The outrage from the Republicans was even greater than that today against Donald Trump. The media piped in, trashing him as a dangerous, radical, reckless conservative. It’s echoed in the anti-trump animus of today’s media. He was dangerous war mongrel. President Johnson’s campaign piled on with the Daisy Ad, all the while LBJ was secretly plotting to escalate the Vietnam War. I was an impressionable 18 year old who bought into the anti-Goldwater hysteria. LBJ won in a landslide. The Republicans went down in flames in the November election. Yes, the turnout for the Democrats was high. But the turnout of dispirited Republican was low. The Republican establishment lost. 1964 marked the beginning of the end for the then traditional Republican establishment. They candidates, including incumbents, went down in the Democratic landslide. The Democrats picked up 37 House seats giving then 291 to 144 Republicans, a 2:1 ratio. They gained 2 Senate seats to 68 compared to a sparse 32 for the republicans. GOP candidates and incumbents across the board in state houses and local races were overwhelmingly defeated. Conservatives, from the West lost the battle in 1964, but won the GOP in 1980. Barry Goldwater may have lost, but he gave rise to Ronald Reagan, who chose George H.W. Bush from the eastern establishment as his Vice President. 1968 witnessed the election of former Vice President Richard Nixon. President Nixon won a landslide reelection in 1992, but the Democrats held onto the House of Representatives and Senate with large majorities. Watergate broke. The media was up in arms and the Democrats used their control of Congress’ committees to destroy the Nixon Administration through nationally televised Congressional hearings. Republicans abandoned President Nixon. Indeed, Senator Goldwater led a committee of Republicans to tell Nixon it was time to resign. The dispirited Republicans stayed home in November. The Democrats thereby achieved enormous majorities in both branches of Congress. They gained 5 Senate seats to 61 and 1 House seat to 291. 1976 was no better for the Republicans. The Democrats retained their 61 Senate seats, but gained the Presidency and an additional seat in the House. It’s looking like Déjà vu all over again. Republican office holders abandon their candidate, alienating the base of the Party. If the base stays home, the omens are poor for the Republican control not only of Congress, but the state houses. Donald Trump may be this year’s version of Sharron Angle, Christina O’Donnell, Todd Akin or Richard Mourdock. He may be the wrong messenger, but the Republican base likes the message. If the Republican turnout is low, the resulting Clinton landslide will be devastating to the GOP, as in 1964 and 1974. The establishment may blame trump, but the republican voters will take it out on the republican establishment in future elections.

The Crocodile Tears and Feigned Hysteria of the Democrats and the Media As they Practice the Politics of Personal Destruction Against Donald Trump

No one should be surprised by the 12 year old misogynist tape of Donald Trump. Donald Trump has been and is The Donald. Knowing it and seeing it though are two different matters. Of course the tape is shocking, outrageous, and damming. The response though of the Democrats and the Media is equally shocking, outrageous, and damming. The Democrats are the party of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, a notorious womanizer. The Democrats are the party of President Lyndon Baines Johnson, a notorious and crude womanizer. The Democrats are the party of the lionized reprobate Senator Ted Kennedy, responsible for the death of a young woman, Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick, and didn’t report it until the next day. The Democrats are the party of Senator Chris Dodd (Dodd-Frank), who accompanied Senator Ted Kennedy on escapades, including an infamous threesome with a waitress. More recently, the Democrats are the party of the reprobate President William Jefferson Clinton, who puts all the rest to shame. None of them were ever accused of raping a woman. None of them had their law license suspended. And none of them paid $850,000 to one of their victims. And yet, President Clinton received a pass from the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, and the feminist movement because they agreed with his politics, while they practice the politics of personal destruction against Donald trump. The Democrats and media practice the politics of personal destruction because it works. for them. The mainstream media is having a field day taking out Donald Trump, but let us remember that their outrage is highly selective. ABC’s late, revered anchor Peter Jennings was a rabid womanizer. The shock of Hollywood, notorious for the casting couch, drugs, alcohol, depravity and licentious behavior is a hoot. It’s especially hypocritical to hear former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the same Arnold Schwarzenegger who has been accused of sexually harassing women and who fathered the son of his household maid, declaim Donald Trump. Hollywood ignored for decades Bill Cosby’s sexual assaults on drugged women. Hollywood wanted Roman Polanski to return to the United states free of charges of statutory rape to which he pled guilty. Hollywood, the shining example of virtue! And then there’s Hillary Clinton, complicit in her husband’s activities. Donald Trump was right in accusing her and her accomplices of silencing the women (victims) who threatened her husband’s Presidential election I don’t countenance Donald Trump’s behavior, but we have bigger issues in this campaign.

The Sayings of Chairman Hillary: The Inner and Outer Thoughts of Hillary Clinton

The Janus faced Hillary: “You need both a public and a private position.” The eternal dreamer: “My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, sometime in the future with energy that is as green and sustainable as we can get it ….” The Obama elitist: “To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it.” The condescending Clinton on the other basket: “people who feel government has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and futures, and they are just desperate for change …. Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well.” Contempt for the American people: “Lester, I think implicit bias is a problem for everyone.” Her real views on African Americans: “The main reason behind successful immigration should be painfully obvious to even the most dimwitted of observers: Some groups of people are almost always highly successful given only half a chance (Jews*, Hindus/Sikhs, Chinese people, for example), while others (Muslims, blacks** and Roma***, for instance) fare badly almost irrespective of circumstances.” Hillary Clinton, the feminist: “Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.” On Gennifer Flowers: “some failed cabaret singer who doesn’t even have much of a resume to fall back on” and “trailer trash.” On Monica Lewinsky: a “narcissistic loony toon” On a 12 year old rape victim: “I have been informed that the complainant is emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing.” On immigration: All her grandparents, including the three born in the United States, were immigrants to the United States. The Brian Williams Hillary in Bosnia: ‘I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” The Hillary Nixonian moment: “What I did was allowed. It was allowed by the State Department. The State Department has confirmed that.” Hillary Clinton in Coal Country: “We are going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.” Hillary on poverty: “You must remember that we came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.” Hillary to Wall Street: “I’m kind of removed from the struggles of the middle class.” Hillary the hypocrite: She cried out against inequality in an April speech while wearing a $12,495 Armani tweed suit. To quote Hillary Clinton: “What difference does it make?”
