The Coronavirus Wisdom Of Governor Andrew Cuomo

The Coronavirus “Wisdom” of Governor Andrew Cuomo New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was informed of the acute shortage of ventilators. He had an opportunity to purchase 16,000. Instead he created a task force to ration the use of ventilators. February 26, 2020, Governor Cuomo bragged about New York being the “front Door” of visitors from around the world. He forgot about Los Angeles and San Francisco. March 2, 2020: The Governor bragged: “Excuse our arrogance as New Yorkers – I speak for the Mayor also on this one - we think we have the best health care system on the planet right here in New York. So, when we’re saying, what happened in other countries versus what happened here, we don’t even think it’ll going to be as bad as it was in other countries.” He continued: “We are fully coordinated, and we are fully mobilized, and we are fully prepared to deal with the situation as it develops.” Let us not overlook: “Our operating paradigm has always been, prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.” March 8 Governor Cuomo on Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures said we should avoid “shutting everything down for two weeks’ as China did. He added: Remember what we’re really trying to do here is avoid the massive disruption of closing everything down for two weeks, the way China did, the way Italy is doing. And we’re trying to protect the vulnerable populations for which this coronavirus could be really dangerous, senior citizens, immune-compromised.” To protect the senior citizens March 25 Governor Cuomo orders nursing homes to accept patients with Covid-19, causing the virus to spread like a wildfire through the patients and staffs of New York nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The roof caved in. New York City and Westchester County were swamped with Covid-a9 cases. March 20 Governor Cuomo pleads for doctors and nurses come to New York to help out. March 23, 2020: “Many people will get the virus, but few will be truly endangered.” As of May 13, 2020 the New York City death toll is 22,013 with about 5,300 in nursing homes, New York has ¼ of the nation’s reported cases and fatalities. The Governor explained New York has more cases than California “because we welcome people from around the globe. We have people coming here, we have people who came from China, who came from Italy, who came here from all around the globe.” They also come to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. April 6, He requests President Trump to send the USNS Comfort, a 1,000 bed hospital ship, to New York City April 22 He says to those unemployed New Yorkers who wish to return to work: “You want to go to work? Go take a job as an essential worker.” The problem is easing in New York. It doesn’t need all the ventilators. The USNS Comfort is pulling out. Is Governor Cuomo gracious for the non-resident medical personnel who came to New York’s rescue, many of whom undoubtedly contracted the disease? Hell no! He gave them a Bronx Cheer! May 1 A no longer thankful Governor Cuomo announces those that came to New York for 14 days or more, must pay New York income taxes – that means city and state income taxes. It will also apply to the income they might still have been paid at their regular job during this period. So much for I Love New York. Andrew Cuomo – the man the Media pushes to succeed Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket.
